As such, the Mii Parade option is available if this is an issue.Mii Channel Theme is very small piece of music, but creates this very lovely relaxed atmosphere with violin and eletric piano instrumentals. The Plaza option removes the area of overlap, but this doesn't transfer to cases where the arrow needs to appear anywhere else (usually at the edges of the screen in the Mii Parade), leaving a bit of a jarring hole. The issue is that the little arrow pointing at the Mii and the main text box are actually separate textures, so they visibly overlap. (02-18-2019, 11:34 PM)themanuel Wrote: Wow! Nice work, and it's nice to see that gap filled.Ĭan you explain the difference between the Mii Plaza and Parade options? Are they mutually exclusive?īasically, when you click on a Mii in the Plaza/Parade, there's a bit of transparency in the text box that appears. I haven't found elegant solutions for this in most cases, though there's one particularly egregious case that's already been fixed. The nose is an issue with overlapping with the polygons as you suspected. It's a bit of a shame, but fortunately, this menu (as well as the keyboard used in it) is pretty much the only place it appears. Still, thanks for catching that - I'll replace that screenshot at some point.Īs for the "Male" typeface, that uses a distinct texture that I haven't been able to dump for whatever reason. The "1/4" not being upscaled was actually an issue I caught while taking a screenshot of something else, so it's fixed in the main download. Won't need too! Good job!Īs for the "1/4" and "Male" text on the screenshots, they're slightly pixelated, are they using another font texture? Also, the nose for your red Mii seems to have a little bug, is this an overlapping glitch? (02-18-2019, 07:11 PM)Moukrea Wrote: Wow neat! I was actually thinking about making something for it.

It should probably be noted that Miis appearing in GUI may or may not be affected, depending on whether they're rendered in full 3D. I don't have a concrete answer as to why, though - it may have to do with the way Mii textures specifically are stored. I've tested this so far in Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports, and Wii Sports Resort, of which all 3 seem to work. (02-18-2019, 06:39 PM)Lumbeeslayer Wrote: Will this work in any game that uses Miis? I'm wondering how is this possible because games don't have the same texture ID. Freckles, wrinkles, and similar textures now properly appear. The pack's downloads have been restructured to make patching and testing the parade variant easier. Thanks to Matrix2525 for making this possible. An eyeshadow texture has been cleaned up, and now appears as a proper gradient.
